Application of the RIDE JAPAN Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are provided in both Japanese and English.In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail and be the official governing version.By participating in this service, all participants acknowledge and agree to this condition.By submitting an application to participate, you agree to comply with all of the Terms & Conditions stated herein.
If you do not agree, the service will not be provided under any circumstances.
Participant Eligibility
All participants must meet all of the following requirements.
If any requirement is not met, participation in the service is not permitted.If it is discovered that a participant does not meet these requirements,participation will be terminated immediately and the participant will be immediately removed from the tour at RIDE JAPAN’s discretion.
1. The participant must hold a valid driver’s license that is legally recognized for driving in Japan.
2. The participant must possess sufficient riding skills and fully understand Japanese traffic laws and regulations.
3. The service is provided in Japanese only.
No interpretation or translation services are provided. Participants must use their own translation apps if necessary.
4. RIDE JAPAN does not arrange motorcycles.
Participants must arrange their own motorcycle separately and pay all related costs directly.
5. All accidents, falls, breakdowns, or other incidents occurring during the tour or while riding shall be the sole responsibility of the participant. RIDE JAPAN provides route guidance only and does not guarantee the safety of the tour or riding in any manner.
Participants are solely responsible for riding safely.
6. Applications must be made by the participant themselves.
Applications made by third parties are not accepted.
In such cases, participation will be denied and no refund will be issued.
Motorcycle Arrangement
•RIDE JAPAN does not provide or arrange motorcycles.
•Participants must arrange their own motorcycle according to the estimated duration of each tour.
•Motorcycle rental or usage fees are not included in the tour price.
•If the actual tour duration differs from the planned duration, RIDE JAPAN will not cover any additional motorcycle-related costs.
Motorcycle Condition and Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their motorcycle:
•Complies with all applicable Japanese traffic laws and regulations
•Is in safe, roadworthy condition
All responsibility for motorcycle management, maintenance, and legal compliance lies with the participant.
Tour Content
•Lunch details and activities are provided as reference only and are not guaranteed.
•Routes, schedules, destinations, and stop durations may change due to weather, traffic conditions, or other circumstances.
•Depending on the situation, RIDE JAPAN guides may accompany the tour by car instead of motorcycle.
Meeting Time and Departure
•Participants must arrive by the designated meeting time for each tour.
•If a participant arrives late, the tour will depart without them and no refund will be provided.
•If a participant leaves the tour early by personal choice, it will be considered a forfeiture of participation rights and no refund will be issued.
Clothing and Personal Belongings
•Participants must wear clothing appropriate for the season.
•Clothing with minimal skin exposure is strongly recommended.
•During winter, sufficient cold-weather protection is essential.
•Participants are responsible for managing their own valuables and belongings.
RIDE JAPAN assumes no responsibility for loss or theft.
Compliance with Traffic Laws
•Participants must comply with all traffic laws and regulations in every region traveled.
•A valid driver’s license must be carried at all times while riding.
•Adequate riding skills are a prerequisite for participation.
Traffic Violations and Accidents
•Participants are fully responsible for any traffic violations.
•RIDE JAPAN and its guides are not responsible for any fines, penalties, or administrative fees incurred.
•In the event of an accident, participants must immediately notify:
-The tour guide
-The motorcycle rental company
-Local authorities and police
-Their insurance provider
Insurance
•RIDE JAPAN does not provide any insurance coverage for the tour.
•Participants must obtain appropriate insurance through their motorcycle rental provider or independently.
Meals and Allergies
•Participants are responsible for managing their own food orders and allergy-related precautions.
•Halal, vegan, or other special dietary accommodations are not available.
•In the event of food poisoning or related issues, responsibility rests solely with the participant. RIDE JAPAN assumes no liability.
Criminal Activity and Anti-Social Organizations
The participant represents and warrants that they are not a member of any criminal or anti-social organization and are not involved in any illegal activities.
Damages and Indemnification
If a participant violates these Terms & Conditions and causes damage or loss to RIDE JAPAN,the participant agrees to indemnify and compensate RIDE JAPAN for all resulting damages,penalties, and expenses.
Authority to Suspend Participation
RIDE JAPAN and its guides reserve the right to suspend or terminate a participant’sInvolvement in the tour if safety risks are identified, including but not limited to reckless riding or failure to follow tour rules. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
• RIDE JAPAN shall not be liable for any and all damages, losses, or injuries(whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) incurred by participants.Provided, however, that this shall not apply in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence of RIDE JAPAN.
•RIDE JAPAN reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend services at its discretion.
Force Majeure
RIDE JAPAN shall not be held liable for tour cancellations or changes resulting from forcemajeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics,pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, legal or governmental actions, or other events beyond its control.
If the guide is unable to continue
If a RIDE JAPAN staff vehicle becomes unable to continue, or if the guide is unable to continue for any other reason, the tour will be canceled at that point.
After that, we kindly ask participants to continue the tour at their own responsibility, and we ask for your understanding.
In such a case, the full RIDE JAPAN tour fee will be refunded at a later date.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Participant
•From time of booking to 7 days before the tour date: 20% cancellation fee
•From 7 days to 3 days before the tour date: 50% cancellation fee
•From 3 days before the tour date or later: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
Cancellations by RIDE JAPAN or Due to Weather
•Full refund of the tour participation fee
•Motorcycle rental fees and related costs are not coveredTour Interruption After Departure
•No refunds will be issued
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
